Job summary

First County Bank is transforming its data and AI capabilities to deliver secure, production-grade internal applications, data pipelines, and AI-enabled tools on Microsoft Azure. You will own end-to-end delivery from whiteboard to production, collaborating with leaders across finance, lending, wealth management, and operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, reliability, and governance, with opportunities to advance our data platform and AI capabilities within a 175-year-old mutual bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• Experience building and deploying applications on Azure or major cloud platforms.
• AI-assisted development experience with Claude Code or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy full-stack internal web applications on Azure.
• Write structured SQL and design relational schemas, views, and stored procedures.
• Integrate large language models into business workflows and ensure secure, governance-aligned AI use.
• Build Power BI datasets and dashboards and deliver prototypes quickly for production use.
