Job summary

Hex Technologies is seeking senior and staff-level fullstack engineers to build AI-powered features into Hex. You will partner with Research and product engineering to deliver scalable agent infrastructure and experimentation tooling, enabling thousands of users to work with data more effectively.

You will work on React/TypeScript frontend and a Node/Express/Apollo GraphQL backend, with Postgres, Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and AWS.

Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with React and Typescript; strong system design skills.
• Experience leading major product initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Hands-on with browser internals and high-performance UIs.
• Strong understanding of web infrastructure and deployment tooling.
• Aligned with business goals while maintaining engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead building AI-powered features in Hex's platform.
• Collaborate with Research to integrate prompts and models.
• Own scalable agent infrastructure and experimentation tooling.
• Drive high-quality, performant user experiences across the product.
• Mentor engineers and guide architecture and delivery.
