EY is seeking a senior AI/ML engineer to build long-running agents and enterprise integrations. You will design deterministic workflows, implement agent behavior, and ensure safety and observability across complex production systems. This hybrid role offers up to 50% travel and collaboration with security, evaluation, and product teams.

You will ship large-scale model-driven workflows, validate outcomes, and deliver trusted automation for real business use cases across EY’s Challenger program.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
• 9–12+ years of relevant experience in software or applied ML engineering with ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on evidence of shipping large-language-model applications or complex model-driven workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Choose the right execution model and design agent architectures with deterministic steps or multi-agent coordination when justified.
• Build dependable tools with clear contracts and controlled permissions.
• Engineer agent behavior including planning, routing, delegation, stopping, retry, and handoff across workflows.
• Create durable context by combining instructions, user state, retrieval, memory, and environment feedback.
• Bound agent authority with scoped identities, budgets, and emergency containment.
• Evaluate complete trajectories with tests that measure verified task success and safe operation.
• Operate long-running execution with durable state, safe retries, and graceful degradation.
• Make behavior observable via end-to-end traces and production evidence to guide improvements.
• Protect user control with clear intervention points for inspection and safe resumption.
• Build shared capability by partnering across product, security, and evaluation teams.
