Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC seeks an AI Engineer to design and build production-grade AI agents using Google's ADK. You will work on multi-agent systems that integrate with enterprise data platforms and business tools, taking agents from prototype to reliable production deployment.

The role emphasizes hands-on Python development, LLM APIs, and Google Cloud deployment, plus building observability and guardrails to ensure scalable, safe agent automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with focus on AI/agent systems.
• Strong Python development skills and experience with LLM APIs.
• Experience with Google ADK or comparable agent frameworks and ramping on ADK.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend service integration.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services (Vertex AI, Cloud Run, IAM, Secrets Manager).

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents and multi-agent workflows using ADK.
• Agent orchestration patterns: tool use, function calling, sub-agent delegation, and state management.
• Integrate agents with enterprise data sources and internal APIs.
• Deploy and scale agents on Google Cloud (Vertex AI or equivalent).
• Evaluate and optimize agent performance, latency, and cost across model backends.
• Build tooling and guardrails around agent behavior: observability, testing, and safety checks.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to expose governed data to agents.
