Job summary

Tyndale Company, Inc. is expanding its AI and automation capabilities with a senior AI Agent & Automation Engineer to design, build, deploy, and support production automations and AI agents in AWS.

You will blend Python development, APIs, enterprise integrations, and workflow automation to turn manual processes into scalable solutions. This hybrid role requires onsite work at least one day per week and remote work the rest, with candidates located near Houston, TX or commutable distance to our

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in automation engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on Python development for automation logic, API integrations, and data transformations.
• Experience with AWS services for automation and integration.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Production software delivery practices including CI/CD, IaC, testing and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Experience with enterprise AI agents or agentic apps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support production automations and AI agents using Python and AWS services.
• Develop Python components for business logic, data transformations, API interactions, and workflow orchestration.
• Design reusable APIs and agent tools using REST/OpenAPI, Lambda, API Gateway.
• Build integrations across enterprise applications and data sources via APIs and webhooks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into automated solutions delivering measurable value.
• Move solutions through Development, UAT, and Production with CI/CD and IaC; document rollbacks.
• Ensure security, reliability, and observability including IAM, secrets management, and monitoring.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues; drive improvements in reliability and cost efficiency.
