Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience performing agricultural and weights measures inspection work.
• Bachelor's degree in agriculture or biological sciences, physics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform the most difficult inspections and enforce agricultural and weights and measures laws.
• Lead worker; guide and train staff; serve as a senior point of contact in program areas.
• Maintain required licenses/certifications and ensure compliance with CDFA licensing.
• Assist Deputy Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer in administrative duties as needed.
