Job summary

BTI is seeking a Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead IT application development in a fast-paced, federal-focused environment. The role emphasizes agile leadership, sprint planning, and backlog management to deliver high-value iterations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience relevant to the contract requirements.
• PMI PMP certification or equivalent.
• Certified Scrum Master credential required or strongly preferred.
• 10 years of IT application development project management experience.
• 3+ years leading teams of 4+ using agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with Jira and cross-disciplinary projects.
• Ability to prioritize deliverables and manage sprint schedules.
• Proven track record resolving roadblocks and delivering iteration goals.

Responsibilities

• Create release and project plans with deliverables and deadlines.
• Forecast and plan for highest value deliverables in each release cycle.
• Ensure teams follow Scrum values and agile practices to hit milestones.
• Lead training and coaching to build high-performing agile teams.
• Coordinate with EBSA/OCIO stakeholders and other organizational teams to align efforts.
