Job summary

ITCON Services is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to lead software application development and/or O&M contracts. You will build and lead development teams, guide analysts and developers, and drive PMI and Agile practices to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include planning, stakeholder engagement, work-product acceptance, reporting, and financial management across your portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field preferred.
PMP certification required.
15+ years in the Information Technology industry.
10+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing IT projects.
Ability to translate requirements into tasks for Design/Development teams.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication, including presentations.
Attention to detail and ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Expert level understanding of SDLC and best practices.
Agile practitioner.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Self-motivated and collaborative in a team environment.
Able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Experience with Federal Government Customers.
Agile certification/ Product Owner certification.
Recruiting experience and strong coaching skills.
Hands-on experience managing IT project budgets and resources and reporting on financials.
Experience with Federal Government Customers.

Responsibilities

Build and lead development teams and coordinate with analysts, developers, and other project roles to deliver projects successfully.
Manage all aspects of project financials for assigned portfolio.
Apply PMI and Agile frameworks; handle project planning, stakeholder needs, and work-product acceptance.
Monitor development/execution, reporting, and quality assurance of project processes.
Facilitate user acceptance and ensure adherence to processes and standards.
