Job summary

Katmai is seeking a Program Manager to provide Agile- and DoD-focused program management support across multiple offices and systems. The role emphasizes dynamic resource allocation, lean processes, and collaboration with Government stakeholders to align contractor tasks with enterprise tools and requirements.

The candidate will integrate Jira-based task management, monitor delivery velocity, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance and security standards are met to support

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Agile DoD programs and acquisition lifecycle.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI desired).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Agile processes to reallocate resources across DoD programs and offices.
• Provide real-time visibility of workforce velocity and performance metrics via dashboards.
• Coordinate contractor task management with Government Jira instance for task tracking.
• Develop workload-size methodologies for estimation, performance measurement, and velocity forecasting.
• Identify risks and blockers; enable rapid, collaborative resolution with Government leadership.
• Support Agile adoption, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder engagement.
