Job summary

Ouzinkie Native Corporation seeks a Training Specialist to support Infantry Immersion Training, develop scenario-based exercises, and align activities with METL objectives. You will coordinate with training units, design effective training documents, and lead performance discussions to drive readiness.

The role emphasizes leadership, TTP proficiency, curriculum development, and collaboration with a diverse team to enhance unit decision-making in simulated combat scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management, or another Business-related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four (4) years knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships (squad to company).
• Experience with TTPs and lessons learned from overseas contingency operations and battlefield environments.
• Familiar with SAT, scenario development, exercise design and T&R requirements.
• Experience with training systems management and operations.
• Able to coordinate with role-player management to ensure training is completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during Infantry Immersion Training and input for after-action reviews.
• Coordinate pre-event planning with training unit and prerequisites.
• Design training scenarios linked to objectives and METLs; advise on resources.
• Develop task lists and scenarios to script actions for training.
• Tailor training scenarios to help commanders achieve PTP objectives.
• Lead performance discussions and provide assessment recommendations.
