Job summary

Unisity, LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to develop Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS, and to optimize AWS resources using Python. You will build RESTful services, implement CI/CD with Maven, GitLab and GitOps, and work in an agile, team-focused environment with tight collaboration with stakeholders.

Required are a TS/CI clearance and a strong background in microservices, cloud native tooling, and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies.
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3.
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps.
• Agile development and delivery of software.
• Communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
