Job summary

Jobtailor in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to coordinate multiple cybersecurity teams, integrate Agile/Lean/DevOps, and drive program-level planning with executive visibility. You will manage cross-team dependencies, facilitate ceremonies, and partner with product leadership on roadmaps and delivery plans.

The role requires strong data analytics, SDLC knowledge, and a proven track record of removing impediments while promoting transparency across teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Agile Delivery Lead or similar role.
  • Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and SDLC practices.
  • Ability to adapt Agile principles for cybersecurity, infra or operations.
  • Security basics including secure development lifecycle and compliance.
  • Proficiency with tools to create visuals, dashboards and reports.
  • Strong product management and data analytics capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; high integrity.
  • Hybrid work eligibility; located within reasonable distance to Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple cybersecurity teams in adopting Agile principles.
  • Integrate Agile, Lean, and DevOps into team routines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate program-level planning, execution tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and escalations.
  • Facilitate program-level ceremonies and executive status reporting.
  • Conduct multi-team workshops and quarterly planning sessions.
  • Identify and resolve impediments, bottlenecks, and resource constraints.
  • Partner with product leadership to create estimates, roadmaps, and plans.
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, and continuous-improvement trends.
  • Promote transparency and collaboration across teams.
  • Guide teams in Agile tooling and artifact management, sprints, and backlogs.
  • Help teams break down work, estimate effort, and monitor progress.
  • Apply CI/CD to improve change lead time, MTTR, and KPIs.

Job description

  • Support multiple cybersecurity teams in adopting and implementing Agile principles and practices
  • Integrate Agile, Lean, and DevOps into team routines and deliverables

  • Facilitate multi-team workshops and department-wide events, including quarterly planning
  • Identify and resolve technical problems, process bottlenecks, resource constraints, and other impediments
  • Partner with product leadership to create estimates, roadmaps, and delivery plans
  • Track, visualize, and report risks, issues, dependencies, impediments, and continuous-improvement trends
  • Promote transparency, collaboration, and information-sharing across product, engineering, and stakeholder teams
  • Guide teams in selecting Agile tools and frameworks and managing Agile artifacts, sprints, and backlogs
  • Help teams break down work, estimate effort, and track progress
  • Use CI/CD principles to improve change lead time, MTTR, defect rate, and other KPIs
  • Represent product/engineering teams to senior stakeholders and gather feedback
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile Delivery Lead or similar role
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean
  • Knowledge of technical practices and the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to adapt Agile principles for cybersecurity, infrastructure, or operational teams
  • General understanding of information security principles and practices, including secure development lifecycle, access management, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with tooling to create visuals, dashboards, and reports
  • Strong grasp of product management principles
  • Data analytics expertise
  • In-depth product and technology domain knowledge
  • Understanding of technical debt and its impact on risk, cost, quality, and agility
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical tools and practices used across multiple teams
  • Experience encouraging continuous improvement using version control systems, CI/CD tools, branching options, and test-driven development
  • Advanced problem-solving ability
  • Integrity and high standards in work quality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be within a reasonable commuting distance of Plano, Texas for hybrid work
