Job summary

7Th Sky Tech in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Scrum Master for a full‑time hybrid role. The ideal candidate will combine strong business analysis skills with Agile/Scrum leadership to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

You will gather and document requirements, facilitate ceremonies, manage the backlog, support sprint planning, and ensure clear communication across stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years as BA/SM or combined BA/SM role.
• Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge and practices.
• Experience with cross-functional software teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with backlog management and sprint planning.
• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to understand business needs and objectives.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement.
• Manage and prioritize the product/project backlog with stakeholders.
• Ensure user stories are defined and ready for development.
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies and resolve with teams.
• Track sprint progress, velocity, and milestones; report to leadership.
