Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the technical design of engagements in the Accenture Security practice. You will work directly with client teams, review implementations, and set direction for identity platforms and AI agent architectures.

You will evaluate build versus buy, prototype against emerging standards, and mentor engineers to build robust reference implementations and technical content. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development and technical leadership.
• Hands-on work within the last 24 months in one of Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C++.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems in production.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent, or 12+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design for engagements and defend decisions.
• Review implementations, prototype when needed, and set technical direction.
• Reverse‑engineer identity stack in client environments and design improvements.
• Make build-vs-buy decisions and document rationale for long-term use.
