Job summary

Thoughtworks is seeking an Agentic AI Principal to act as a senior technical authority and trusted advisor for complex agentic AI transformations. The role spans Germany, the Netherlands and the broader DACH region, focusing on sovereign, compliant, production‑grade systems for healthcare and life sciences.

You will lead multi‑agent design, governance, and large‑scale delivery, pairing with data, tech advisory and industry leads from presales to delivery while growing a high‑caliber German team.

Qualifications

• Senior level technical authority with hands‑on credibility in agentic AI and governance.
• Experience shaping enterprise AI strategy and architecture for regulated environments.
• Proven ability to win complex, multi‑stakeholder engagements with C‑suite.
• Deep knowledge of EU AI Act, GDPR and data sovereignty in healthcare/Life Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Shape and win complex German, Dutch and DACH pursuits with leaders across account, commercial and delivery.
• Design and build production‑grade agentic AI systems with robust observability and integration.
• Lead governance and safeguards, including risk framing, logging and DPIA support.
• Mentor engineers, raise AI fluency, and grow a German team across markets.
• Represent Thoughtworks in client conversations, partnerships and thought leadership.
