Job summary

Bank of America seeks a Senior Engineer to lead the design and implementation of Agentic AI across the SDLC, defining strategy, architecture, and operating model for Copilot, Azure Foundry, and knowledge graphs to automate developer workflows from planning through production.

You will partner with product, platform, risk, and delivery teams to drive measurable outcomes, ensure responsible use, and scale adoption across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering/architecture with 2+ years leading AI/LLM in production.
• Proven experience implementing Agentic AI solutions and integrating them with SDLC platforms.
• Hands-on with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Deep knowledge of RAG, prompt & context engineering, and knowledge graphs.
• Strong grasp of LLMOps/MLOps: dataset curation, eval design, and governance.
• Expertise with SDLC toolchains: GitHub, CI/CD, IaC, SAST/DAST.
• Ability to lead cross-functional programs and communicate with executives.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, data privacy, and secure software development.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise Agentic‑AI‑in‑SDLC strategy, operating model, and multi‑year roadmap.
• Architect agentic workflows and integrate with SDLC systems and observability platforms.
• Lead delivery of AI agents that automate SDLC tasks (requirements, design reviews, tests).
• Build Copilots with Copilot Studio and operationalize models in Azure AI Foundry.
• Define ontology for domain knowledge graphs and robust retrieval ecosystems.
• Establish LLMOps practices including prompt/version management and evaluation suites.
• Partner with Risk, Legal, Privacy, InfoSec to define responsible‑AI patterns.
• Lead developer onboarding and track value via KPIs and OKRs.
