Job summary

State Street Investment Management seeks an Agentic AI Builder to design, prototype, and implement AI-enabled workflows across the organization. You will work with AI product managers, data engineers, and control partners to deliver scalable, governance‑driven AI solutions.

The role focuses on rapid iteration, tool‑driven development, and responsible AI practices to improve investment management, product, client, finance, and operations processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field.
• Hands-on ability to turn business problems into working technical solutions.
• Experience or interest in generative/agentic AI and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with modern AI tools and platforms (LLMs, AI IDEs, etc.).
• Programming experience in Python or SQL with data integration capabilities.
• Awareness of governance, risk, security, and auditability in a regulated enterprise.
• Curiosity and ownership mindset with quick learning.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and measurable outcomes.
• Prototype, test, and implement agentic AI workflows at scale.
• Design AI agents and multi-agent workflows on approved data products.
• Implement human-in-the-loop controls, monitoring, and governance for safe AI adoption.
• Use AI development tools and reusable skills to accelerate delivery and validation.
• Support testing, performance metrics, and documentation for responsible AI.
