Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Sr. Agentic AI/Automation Engineer for a long-term contract in Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX. The role focuses on building AI applications with enterprise APIs, LLMs, agent frameworks, and responsible AI governance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and deploy AI-powered software, and mentor engineers while advancing retrieval augmented generation and secure data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• 2+ years of experience working with Generative AI, large language models, or foundation models
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms and containerization (GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and with Python

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical engineering environments
• Design, code, test, debug, and document applications and services including upgrades and deployments
• Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using enterprise APIs, LLMs, agent frameworks, and related technologies
• Implement prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation, fine tuning, and agentic design patterns
• Integrate LLM models with existing enterprise systems and ensure governance, security, and compliance standards
