The Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Engineering and Construction, invites applications for one Agency Project Engineer/Architect III to perform design, estimate, and inspection services for critical maintenance projects across several counties in Maryland.

Since the role involves extensive project management and coordination with various stakeholders, strong communication and technical skills are essential. On-site work at multiple state buildings will be required.

Qualifikationen

• Six years of experience in agency capital and operating construction, maintenance and system services projects; two years as a design and project manager Engineer, Architect, or Surveyor; plus four years in building construction or related fields.

Aufgaben

• Provide construction estimating, design (including specification development), management, and inspection services for maintenance projects.
• Perform project management for multiple counties: Cecil, Harford, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Howard and Carroll.
• Develop and inspect building systems and utilities related to state facilities.
• Prepare written specifications and oversee adherence to building codes and standards.
