Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal relations, public speaking, administrative and communication skills are required.
• Strong analytical skills to market credit services to eligible Farm Credit borrowers, evaluate financial statements, and identify and implement corrective actions.
• Knowledge of mortgage and commercial lending practices, including credit standards and real estate appraisal.

Responsibilities

• Concentrates on generating new business and developing a loan portfolio through direct origination or participation interests.
• Monitors relationships and credit compliance of originated loans.
• Evaluates clients' needs and provides appropriate financial solutions.
• Ensures proper loan underwriting and structuring in line with policy and central underwriting units.
• Makes calls on important prospects to sell and service banking needs.
• Manages loan portfolios and tracks exceptions and past-due status per policy.
• Provides ongoing relationship servicing and resolves service issues.
• Monitors results versus objectives and suggests strategic adjustments.
• Serves on various Association committees as assigned.
