Job summary

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain John Deere equipment, including in-field service as needed. You will document all work and ensure timely submission, while mentoring junior technicians and participating in customer clinics.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system knowledge, proficiency with diagnostic tools and Service ADVISOR, plus solid teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in off-road/heavy equipment.
• Experience with diagnostics and repairs and documenting work orders.
• Experience with service software and basic computer functions.
• Ability to mentor trainees and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Document diagnostics and repairs on work orders and submit on time.
• Mentor Service Technician Trainees and service technicians.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area.
