Qualifications

• Associate degree in child development or HS diploma with two years direct experience.
• Experience working with parent groups such as PTAs or AmeriCorps teams.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain program integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom assistance and support to group leaders and program aides.
• Plan and implement theme-based projects and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain relationships with host school, parents, staff and children.
• Adhere to policies and health guidelines; ensure confidentiality of information.
• Supervise arrival, snack and dismissal; manage supplies inventory.
