Job summary

Meritus Property Group in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Multi-Site Senior Affordable Property Manager to oversee multiple affordable housing communities across the Portland Metro area. You will lead site teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize occupancy and financial performance.

As the ideal candidate, you bring deep knowledge of Oregon landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing, LIHTC and related programs, plus strong leadership and resident relations skills to deliver high-quality housing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in housing and/or property management.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing multi-family housing communities.
• Experience generating property budgets and managing affordable housing developments, including HUD, LIHTC, Rural Housing, Tax-Exempt Bond properties.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing and Oregon landlord-tenant laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple affordable housing communities throughout Oregon.
• Ensure properties are maintained to company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate curb appeal, maintenance, safety, leasing, and resident satisfaction.
• Monitor occupancy trends, leasing activity, delinquency, resident retention, and asset performance.
• Develop operational strategies to improve financial performance and efficiency.
