Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Senior Affordable Housing Associate with six or more years of experience to join its Real Estate Practice Group. You will advise real estate owners, developers, and lenders on LIHTC, HUD programs, and complex financing structures.

The successful candidate will draft major deal documents, coordinate multi-party transactions, lead due diligence, and mentor junior attorneys. JD and active bar membership are required.

Qualifications

  • Six or more years of affordable housing experience.
  • Experience with LIHTC, tax-exempt bond financings, and layered financing structures.
  • Familiarity with HUD programs and state housing finance agency requirements.
  • JD and active bar membership in good standing.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of affordable housing deals, including site control and due diligence.
  • Draft core deal documents such as development agreements and loan agreements.
  • Coordinate and negotiate with lenders, investors, and municipal agencies.
