Backbone Media seeks a Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager to lead affiliate programs for outdoor brands. You will recruit partners, negotiate arrangements, and align programs with client goals to drive revenue. Collaboration with Paid Media, Social, and PR teams is essential for holistic campaigns.

You will forecast budgets, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights to clients. Strong GA experience and leadership are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in major affiliate networks and programs.
• Ability to recruit partners and negotiate rates.
• Experience with varied incentive models (CPA, CPC, flat fee, hybrid).
• Experience with creator-commerce platforms (ShopMy, LTK, Levanta, Linkby).
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills for forecasting and KPI optimization.
• Google Analytics and affiliate attribution experience or certification.
• Strong client relationship management and strategic recommendations.
• Ability to articulate strategy and execute it; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of clients' affiliate programs and recruit partners.
• Translate client goals into actionable, measurable strategies.
• Monitor performance and optimize towards KPI targets weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with key affiliate partners and opportunities.
• Provide regular client reporting with insights and actions.
• Develop budget forecasts and revenue projections with client input.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve performance proactively.
• Manage status calls and own client relationship.
• Shape long-term service offerings and drive efficiencies across portfolios.
