Dayton T. Brown, Inc. seeks a Lead Aerospace Wire Harness Technician to build and lead a new on-site capability in Bohemia, NY. You will review drawings, define processes, select tooling, and stand up the production area while remaining hands-on in the work center.

Ideal candidates have extensive aerospace harness experience, lead teams, and partner with Quality and Engineering to deliver high-reliability assemblies for defense programs.

Qualifications

• Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs and specs.
• Strong knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship and inspection.
• Experience with MIL-spec connectors and aerospace interconnects.
• Hands-on experience with aerospace wire harness processes and tooling.
• Lead technicians, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with teams.

Responsabilités

• Stand up a new wire harness capability and define manufacturing processes.
• Identify tooling, equipment, and layout production work areas.
• Support procurement, travelers, and inspection/test processes.
• Provide hands-on direction, training, and technical leadership.
• Interface with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and customers; travel/overtime as needed.
