Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, is hiring an Aerospace Vehicle Technician Senior for 1st shift at El Segundo, CA. You will assemble and test spacecraft components, including MLI/SLI, using released drawings and precise methods to meet engineering specs.

You will work from design drawings, operate specialized space-grade equipment, and document test data for performance analysis, with potential travel and security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of mechanical assembly experience in high-reliability products.
• Experience building/terminating wiring harnesses for racks/boxes.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and DMM.
• Experience with assembly tooling and composites is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings, schematics, and instructions to assemble components to tight tolerances.
• Operate space hardware assembly equipment including test consoles and alignment fixtures.
• Inspect and test assemblies, perform leak and pressure checks, and alignment checks.
• Assist engineers with process improvements and collect/test data for reports.
