Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks an Environmental Test Technician B for the Manufacturing team in El Segundo, CA, on the first shift. You will assist in setting up and executing vibration, thermal vacuum, and related environmental tests on space flight hardware under the test conductor.

This role requires working onsite, completing documentation, and maintaining test equipment while ensuring safety and quality. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience as a Test technician in aerospace or equivalent.
• Experience using hand tools and troubleshooting electronic components.
• Mechanically and mathematically inclined.
• Must be able to obtain US Citizenship and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist and execute environmental tests on space flight hardware.
• Operate test instrumentation and equipment (shakers, chambers, DAQs).
• Interpret drawings and procedures and follow steps accordingly.
• Record test data, run logs and deliver documentation for reports.
• Maintain lab equipment and support safe operations.
• Work with engineering to refine standard procedures.
