The Senior Sales Estimator role supports quoting by estimating material costs, lead times, and supplier pricing, coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Processing, and Purchasing to reflect current commercial conditions. The position emphasizes RFQ evaluation, manufacturing planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver accurate quotes and drive

Qualifikationen

• Expert level in Catia and/or Enovia.
• Strong understanding of Statement of Work and Print Reading.
• CAD experience and aptitude required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Thorough understanding of Tool & Fixture Manufacturing Process.
• 10 years previous experience in tooling production environment, Aerospace experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate the work and material content for every task to be completed within the RFQ.
• Build a manufacturing plan within Visual Manufacturing estimating window to include labor costs, material costs and outside process costs.
• Maintain knowledge of the tool manufacturing market, the competition, labor rates, sub-tier suppliers, WIP, work backlog and corporate resources.
• Keep in communication with the Sales staff regarding estimates, feedback, and any special requirements.
• Interaction with customers regarding questions or special requirements.
• Contribute to corporate quality policy and objectives.
• Evaluate estimating projects for significant quality risks.
• Read and understand Statement of Work and incorporate all special requests in quotes.
• Give comprehensive lineup to Manufacturing upon P.O. to include all intimate details known at time of quote.
• Review project upon completion with Manufacturing for lessons learned and explore improvement strategies.
