Job summary

BETA Technologies in Vermont is seeking a senior technical writer with aerospace experience to lead S1000D documentation and CSDB administration. You will author, peer-review and edit manuals for engines and aircraft, coordinating with engineers, designers and SMEs to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Using XML authoring and S1000D tools, you’ll extract data from drawings and CAD models, collaborate with illustrators, and manage document workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or aerospace-related field required.
• S1000D documentation for aerospace with CSDB experience required.
• Experience with regulatory approvals by FAA/EASA preferred.
