Job summary

Aurex Defense in Centennial, CO seeks a reliability engineer with aerospace experience to support the NASA Artemis program. The candidate will perform FMEA and related analyses and prepare reliability documentation.

You will present results to Program Management and collaborate with design teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements; strong written and verbal communication is required.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Engineering or related discipline such as Aerospace Engineering or Systems Engineering.
• 5–10 years of system reliability engineering experience.
• Proficiency in FMEA and PRA applied to aerospace vehicles.
• Experience with FTA, fishbone analysis, and hazard analysis.
• Experience with launch vehicle and spacecraft design, development or operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with customers and suppliers.
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spacecraft subsystems (avionics, propulsion, GN&C, communications, mechanical, thermal control, etc.).
• Conduct detailed FMECA on launch vehicles at component and sub-component levels.
• Support safety and mission assurance analyses and related products.
• Collaborate with engineering design teams to ensure customer requirements compliance.
• Present results to Program Management and customers.
