Actalent is seeking a Systems Engineer in Mukilteo, WA to provide program-level technical leadership across requirements, architecture, interfaces, risk, validation, and documentation for complex aerospace and defense products. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure hardware system satisfaction from concept through qualification and help grow a robust systems engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• Hands-on systems engineering across requirements, architecture, verification, and qualification
• Experience with mechanical systems and structures, electronics, and cabling
• Strong communication and ability to present to stakeholders
• Experience with Interface Control Drawings (ICDs) and interface documentation (IDDs) is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Provide program-level technical oversight to meet requirements throughout the development lifecycle
• Coordinate systems engineering activities across requirements, architecture, integration, test, and qualification
• Balance engineering design, analysis, integration, and test activities for robust system designs
• Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, verification, and compliance
• Mentor and develop less-experienced engineers within an IPT structure
• Engage in customer-facing technical discussions and present system concepts and test results
