Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager in the Aerospace/Defense sector in Fayetteville, AR. You will oversee procurement of large BOMs for complex electrical components, manage production planning, warehouse operations, and cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring FAR/D-FAR compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in supply chain management in the Engineering industry.
• Experience managing direct reports in SCM/ops.
• Aerospace/Defense industry experience required.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume environment with large BOMs.
• Proficient in production planning, warehouse management, cost reduction, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
• Proficient in SCM software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficiency in production planning, warehouse management, inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
• Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to maximize profitability without sacrificing quality or delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and DFAR regulations in all supply chain activities.
• Forecast demand to ensure availability of products and resources, preventing shortages or excess inventory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve the supply chain.
• Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs to track supply chain performance and take corrective action.
• Establish strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts with advantageous terms.
• Train and mentor supply chain staff, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
