Jobot is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain/Procurement Manager to lead procurement of aero-structural parts and manage warehouse, inventory, and compliance with FAR and DFAR. The role focuses on cost reduction, supplier relationships, and a high-mix, low-volume environment.

You will shape supply chain strategy in aerospace/defense, mentor staff, and drive KPI-driven improvements while collaborating with operations and leadership. Relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management in the Engineering industry with a proven track record.
• Experience managing direct reports in supply chain and operations.
• Aerospace/Defense industry experience is required.
• Experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment with structural parts/components.
• Proficient in production planning, warehouse management, cost reduction strategies, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
• Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
• Demonstrates integrity and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes including planning, warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to improve profitability without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
• Ensure FAR/DFAR compliance in all supply chain activities.
• Forecast demand to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve the supply chain process.
• Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs to track performance and drive improvements.
• Establish strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
• Mentor supply chain staff to foster continuous improvement and operational excellence.
