Job summary

Safran seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier performance initiatives across design, operations, and supply chain. You will drive nonconformance resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions with suppliers to protect product quality and customer satisfaction.

In this role you will mentor teams, manage complex projects with remote suppliers, and ensure adherence to AS9100 and APQP practices, while upholding Safran's quality culture and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or equivalent.
• 10+ years in supplier quality or related field.
• ASQ CQE or CQA certification would be ideal.
• APQP knowledge (AS9145) a plus.
• Auditing to AS9100/9110/9120 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve supplier performance.
• Manage processing of supplier nonconformances until resolution.
• Identify risks related to product and people safety in the supply chain.
• Issue and follow up on Failure Analysis and root cause/corrective actions.
• Lead training initiatives for suppliers.
• Manage complex projects with remote teams.
