Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Stress Analysis Engineer in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on leading complex projects, performing advanced stress analyses on aircraft primary structures, and supporting fatigue analysis to ensure safe, high-performance aerospace products.

You will develop FEMs, make authoritative technical decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, MRB, and program teams to resolve critical issues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in stress analysis on aircraft primary structures.
• Demonstrated fatigue analysis experience on aircraft structures.
• Strong experience with Finite Element Modeling (FEM).
• Ability to independently analyze complex problems and make sound technical decisions.
• Advanced technical expertise in structural analysis and aerospace engineering.
• For the applicable engineering grade, approximately 13 years of specific technical-discipline experience or 15 years of broad engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering projects within scope, cost, and schedule.
• Perform advanced stress analysis on aircraft primary structures.
• Conduct and support fatigue analysis of aircraft structures.
• Develop, evaluate, and interpret Finite Element Models (FEM).
• Make authoritative technical decisions impacting engineering activities and programs.
• Apply advanced engineering principles and concepts in structural analysis.
• Lead development of innovative engineering methods and guidance.
• Identify and implement improved methods to optimize performance and schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support MRB activities and other engineering functions as needed.
