Job summary

Safran Helicopter Engines USA, Inc. in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking a Service Engineer to provide technical support to field representatives and customers for Safran HE engines in service.

You will lead root cause investigations, update maintenance procedures, and analyze health monitoring data to improve reliability and reduce downtime. This full-time role requires an engineering degree and 8+ years of aeronautical experience, with travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in aeronautical maintenance or engineering.
• Experience with Gas Turbine Engines and Helicopter Systems is preferred.
• Proficient with Power BI and MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Field Representatives and customers for Safran HE engines in service.
• Lead root cause investigations for in-service incidents and produce analytical reports.
• Draft, validate, and authorize technical agreements under design office delegation.
• Analyze Health Monitoring data and engine parameters to troubleshoot faults in-service.
• Drive improvements in engine maintainability and update maintenance procedures to reduce downtime.
