Job summary

Ursa Major in Colorado is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead aerospace programs, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure on-time delivery of complex propulsion and defense systems.

You will own schedules, budgets, and risk management while coordinating across engineering and operations to meet milestones and performance metrics. A strong PM background in defense/aerospace and ITAR/EAR experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of program management or aerospace leadership experience.
• Ability to work under ITAR/EAR regulations and program requirements.
• Proven PM experience in defense, national security, or aerospace domains.
• Experience leading teams to field integrated products in real environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive program progress from market need to sustainment and obsolescence.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Define program objectives and align required resources.
• Own budget, schedule, and key results; prepare and present reviews.
• Own program schedule and coordinate inputs; re-baseline when needed.
• Assess technical and program risks; drive mitigations and opportunities.
• Identify and realize program or product opportunities to strengthen the business.
• Lead delivery of program objectives while ensuring on-time progress.
• Serve as primary customer POC; manage scope and contract deliverables.
• Collaborate to write, review, and deliver technical artifacts.
• Support business development with programmatic inputs like cost and schedule.
