Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) seeks a Program Manager to lead programs in the Salt Lake City Aerostructures division. You will manage from inception through completion, oversee change proposals, and drive cost reduction while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule.

You will be the primary customer contact, build strong relationships, and coordinate proposals, budgets, and SOWs across multiple customers and subcontractors. Aerospace experience and PMP are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project, program or related experience.
• BS in Engineering, Business or Finance; MS desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing government contracts required.
• Experience in budgeting, profit and loss management.
• Experience in proposal writing.
• Aerospace experience.
• PMP or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with ITAR data.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Manage change proposals, scope growth opportunities, and cost reduction activities.
• Oversee safety, quality, schedule, technical performance and cost (P&L) of programs.
• Serve as primary customer interface and cultivate customer relationships.
• Coordinate proposals, budgets, SOWs, and contract terms.
• Lead development or production programs across multiple customers; coordinate with subcontractors.
• Report program performance and manage risks and opportunities.
• Support business management to align PM and execution teams.
