Oerlikon Group in Huntersville, NC, is seeking a Senior Program Engineer to lead complex Aerospace and Defense customer programs from contract through final delivery. The role interfaces with customers and cross‑functional IPTs, driving schedules, budgets, risk, and performance to meet contractual objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of aerospace & defense program management experience.
• Experience leading integrated product teams (IPTs).
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget and risk across complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead aerospace & defense programs from award to delivery.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans and resources.
• Serve as primary customer focal point and communicate updates clearly.
• Lead IPTs across engineering, operations, quality, procurement and finance.
• Monitor performance metrics, forecasts, and cost controls.
