Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing of precision machined components, ideally in regulated industries such as aerospace or medical device.
• Experience leading and managing a team toward common goals; prior supervisor role preferred.
• Strong background in high-mix / low-volume machining with lean manufacturing emphasis.
• Proficient with ERP systems and CAD/CAM software; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-department team of CNC Operators and Set-Up Operators in a high-mix/low-volume aerospace environment.
• Manage day-to-day priorities across multiple machining departments; cross-train staff on best practices; drive set-up and run-time improvements.
• Develop and author standard work for production equipment; coach staff on safety, policy compliance, and QMS procedures.
• Motivate the team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals; identify waste and lead lean improvements.
• Coordinate time-off requests using the skills matrix to ensure adequate staffing.
