Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking a senior sourcing professional to lead supplier development, negotiate pricing, manage purchase orders, and travel across the Midwest, Southeast, Texas and other regions. You will coordinate supplier training, monitor performance, and drive strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining quality and schedule.

The role requires 8+ years in sourcing, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong aerospace manufacturing knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
8+ years in a sourcing environment and 7+ years in a sourcing role with negotiation.
Expertise in complex aerospace machine components and related processes.

Responsibilities

Lead deployment of work transfers using automated tools and planning.
Maintain understanding of material specs, processing, and treatment requirements.
Serve as site focal point for questions on transfer checklists.
Maintain a program-level work transfer tracker tracking all parts.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies and ethics.
Achieve lowest material cost while balancing quality and schedule.
Solicit and evaluate supplier proposals using cost analyses.
Raise all FAIR and subsequent purchase orders.
Monitor supplier performance and market conditions.
Cultivate strategic relationships across the supply chain.
Coordinate supplier training and development activities.
Travel 25-30% and lead domestic offload activities.
