Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, test, and implement advanced mechanical systems supporting space exploration initiatives. You will apply engineering principles across concept to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet functional, structural, and thermal requirements.

Responsibilities include design verification, GD&T-driven drawings, and delivering clear design reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience on complex systems.
• Experience with GD&T in drawing creation/review.
• Proficiency using CREO for design and drafting; NX/SolidWorks a plus.
• Experience performing FEA and thermal analyses.
• Ability to develop designs across full product lifecycle.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, analyze, and implement complex mechanical systems.
• Perform dimensional tolerance analyses and GD&T verification.
• Produce detailed drawings and maintain documentation for reviews.
• Conduct structural and thermal analyses to validate designs.
• Prepare presentations for design reviews and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the product lifecycle.
• Support projects from concept through implementation and support.
