Job summary

Cybotic System in Savannah, GA seeks an experienced Materials & Processes Engineer to support aerospace engineering and manufacturing activities. You will collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams, external suppliers, and MRB processes to ensure materials and processes meet requirements.

Responsibilities include planning and executing engineering projects, solving complex materials problems, and developing test plans with clear results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a specific technical engineering discipline or 10+ years broad engineering experience.
• Aerospace/aircraft manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing/production engineering activities.
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be legally qualified to work on an ITAR project.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects.
• Provide technical solutions to complex materials and manufacturing problems.
• Support aircraft development and production activities.
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering teams, and external suppliers.
• Generate and communicate technical requirements.
• Support Manufacturing Liaison and MRB activities.
• Review proposed designs and engineering workflows.
• Develop and support technical test plans and results reports.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Structures, Mechanical, Electrical, Powerplant, and Environmental Control engineering teams.
