Industrious Ventures is seeking a Senior Materials Engineer in Berthoud, Colorado. In this role, you will provide essential support for production and development programs, focusing on materials engineering in the aerospace industry.

You will engage in a variety of manufacturing processes and collaborate with the Advanced Manufacturing and Materials group to enhance product quality. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.

The compensation range is $108,000 - $135,800, dependent on qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a metals materials engineering role in the aerospace industry.
• Experience with industry standards for materials data analysis (MMPDS).
• Experience with a variety of aerospace metals including nickel-based alloys, stainless steel, aluminum alloys, and titanium alloys.

Responsibilities

• Support design and manufacturing through materials selection and failure analysis.
• Author and maintain materials standards and specifications.
• Coordinate materials testing in support of development and production needs.
