Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Project/Program Manager to drive programs from initiation through execution, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability. Reporting to the PMO Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Production, align plans with customers, and manage contracts and KPIs.

The role requires 3–5 years in program management within manufacturing, a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, and strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in Program/Project Management within manufacturing sectors (aerospace, automotive, naval).
• Proficient with MS Office (Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with international Programs/Projects.
• Ability to influence without authority; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned Program(s)/Project(s), develop and execute Plans, track deviations and recovery actions.
• Lead multi-functional PM teams (Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, etc.) and foster collaboration.
• Coordinate with Sales, Proposal and Production personnel.
• Serve as SPOC for the customer and manage relationships as agreed with PMO Manager.
• Manage early contract deviations and negotiate impacts.
• Track KPIs (margin, On Time Delivery, OQD, etc.).
• Provide monthly KPI dashboards to top management.
• Provide weekly status reports to project team and PMO Manager.
• Build internal/external networks to solve complex issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the PM system.
