Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA is hiring a Senior Manufacturing And Automation Engineer to transform prototype processes into scalable production for aerospace hardware, including PCBA, battery packs, and LRUs. You will lead automation integration, process control, and equipment qualification to meet quality, safety, and cost goals.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, sensors, machine vision, and PFMEA/DOE.

Qualifications

Experience developing and industrializing manufacturing processes and automated equipment.
Hands-on experience with industrial automation technologies such as PLCs, robotics, sensors, motion control, or machine vision.
Experience with process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and industrialize manufacturing processes for PCBA, battery pack, LRU, and component assembly.
Design, develop, and implement automated and semi-automated production systems with robotics, PLCs, motion control, and machine vision.
Lead design, fabrication, integration, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment, fixtures, tooling, and automation stations.
