Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a Senior Aerospace Hardware Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of satellite avionics subsystems, from architecture through production ramp. You will lead system and subsystem design, drive circuit design and ECAD work, and mentor engineers across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience developing functional specifications, verification plans and tests.
• 5+ years developing hardware across full product lifecycle (concept through production).
• Experience with PCB design and debug of complex boards (processors, FPGAs, power, sensors).
• Experience driving hardware through bring-up, validation and integration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of satellite avionics subsystems from architecture to production ramp.
• Lead system/subsystem architecture translating mission requirements into hardware designs.
• Drive circuit design, ECAD schematic capture to meet targets.
• Lead hardware design reviews and set design quality standards.
• Develop and execute bring-up, verification and qualification strategies.
• Lead debugging and root cause resolution across development, qualification and production.
• Establish requirements, traceability and verification frameworks for hardware subsystems.
• Lead production readiness and ramp including test strategy and yield improvement.
• Influence cross-functional teams to deliver milestones.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor other engineers.
