Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a senior engineering leader to serve as the Applied Engineering integrator for a high-visibility aerospace vehicle test program.

The role blends deep technical credibility with business operations acumen to enable a complex build, integrate, test, and operate cycle. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Total experience: BS 12+, MS 10+, or PhD 8+ years; project management experience including cost and schedule.
• Experience leading technical teams and direct personnel management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and operational readiness assessment across programs.
• Vehicle integration and test leadership including planning, verification, and risk management.
• Cross-functional integration across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and mission assurance.
• Procurement and supply-chain fluency to manage long-lead items and supplier performance.
• Organizational responsiveness, stakeholder management, and reporting for senior leadership.
• Business operations leadership including budgeting, staffing, and administrative processes.
