Job summary

Loud Solutions is seeking a Lead Integration & Test Engineer to own end-to-end integration and verification of advanced strike vehicles. You will be embedded in the build process, ensuring subsystems are validated before handoff to a major government customer.

On behalf of our client, a fast-growing hypersonics company, we're hiring a Lead Integration & Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience to own the end-to-end integration and verification of advanced strike vehicles as the company prepares to deliver an early production run to a major government customer. This is an incredibly cross-functional engineering role, and you'll be embedded in the build process from day one, ensuring every subsystem is properly validated before handoff to the customer.

You need to be someone with deep systems-level understanding, strong foresight to anticipate integration issues before they arise, and the ability to work across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. The ideal candidate comes from a high-complexity, high-stakes environment, think first-build programs, pilot builds, or new product development where engineering standards are non-negotiable. You'll also mentor a junior integration engineer and help build out the I&T function as the company scales production.

What You'll Do

• Lead vehicle-level integration activities, ensuring form, fit, and function across all subsystems (propulsion, avionics, structures) as units move through production
• Develop and execute integration and test strategies that catch issues during the build process, acting as the quality gatekeeper before customer delivery
• Write and run test automation scripts (Python, LabVIEW) for environmental testing including vibration, thermal, and vacuum chamber validation
• Design integration tooling and fixtures for safe handling and assembly of energetic and complex mechanical systems
• Mentor a junior integration and test engineer and build out the I&T team to support production scale-up across multiple facilities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in systems integration and test, ideally from a high-complexity, first-build, or pilot-production program
• Strong systems-level understanding across mechanical, electrical, and software domains
• Experience with test automation scripting (Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB)
• Experience with environmental testing (vibration, thermal, vacuum chamber validation) and data acquisition systems
• Experience designing integration tooling and fixtures for complex mechanical systems
• Comfortable working around hazardous or energetic materials in a safety-critical environment
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Location: Torrance, CA or Rio Rancho, NM (5 days on-site)
